Cape
white mask & white V on his chest.

If you didn't list the "changes", I'd say there are no significant changes that warrant a comment at all. But since you did... no, I still don't see that much a difference.

Like Tr3s says, we really don't know the changes unless you list them but i see what you did.
So far, the cape looks great on him, if you painted that too, great job, only thing you should do is just add some shadowing to him on the cape, just to give it more of that dark wavy deep look, other then that, the cape is fine the way it is.
For Spawn himself, he looks beautiful, i don't see anything wrong with him.

However, I hate the cape from Image 10th Anniversary Spawn. I won't forgive McFarlane & crew for changing the original design.
(I know, they won't loose a second of sleep over it.)
yeah, I agree with EQ's on just the deign of the cape's crap, glue some of the pices together, that's what I did, it improves it a little,
But, in all honesty, it's a pretty good repint, I liek the crispness (teehee) of it
It's simple colours, without looking old, or cheesy, or low-budget
